Simple Western Look + 10 Fun Facts About Me

Since a lot of people are new here, I wanted to share 10 Fun Facts About Me to help you all get to know me a little bit better:

1. I was born and raised in North Texas– born in Dallas and raised in McKinney.

2. I was a competitive dancer my entire life and still teach dance now.

3. I have one younger brother,Trevor, who is currently in college.

4. I attended the University of Oklahoma the first part of my freshman year, where I was a member of the Pom squad and then transferred to the University of Arkansas to focus on my business degree (Woo Pig!).

5. I was a member of Delta Delta Delta in college (Ba Doom, Ba Doom, Tri Delta!).

6. I absolutely LOVE running and was even on the Cross Country team in middle school and for one year in high school.
7. My boyfriend’s name is Jon and we have been dating a little over a year now. We met at my first job out of college and he sat right next to me.

8. I have a cute little chubby cat named Piper who was rescued from a parking garage and she has the most outgoing personality of any animal I have ever had πŸ˜‚

9. My claim to fame is getting to dance on stage with the Jabbawockeez when I was 15. Remember America’s Best Dance Crew from back in the day? They were the winner the first season that wear the white masks and I believe they currently have a show in Vegas. I remember we got to meet them in their dressing room before we all went on stage to perform together and I didn’t recognize them because they always have on masks LOL. They were truly the kindest people though!

10. My hair color really depends on my mood. I have dyed my hair any color from jet black (which it was like that mostly in college), to really blonde, to ombre, to medium brunette, etc. I never keep it one color because I get bored with it pretty easily.
Those are just a few fun facts about me and if you have any questions about them or anything else feel free to ask below! πŸ™‚
On another note, how adorable is this Western outfit?!? When I received this top and shorts in the mail from Ellison, I was so excited because I immediately thought ‘Texas country concerts’. Just add some boots to this and you would be set for any country concert this summer! I styled it a bit more casually with some nude lace up sandals here. so I could wear it to any casual occasion.  This top is actually a lot longer than what I am wearing it as here and fits more as a tunic. I tied it up in the front to give it more of a crop top look with the high waisted shorts. To finish it all off, I added this belt to finish of the country western look!
I have linked some of my favorite items for a country concert below!

Have a wonderful day!
